In year 4, we looked at a variety of Michael Rosen’s poetry. As a class we enjoyed watching Michael Rosen perform his own poem; The Michael Rosen Rap.

Here is an example of our own raps using his poetic style and some of his imaginative ideas.

At the end of our poetry unit in Literacy, we used all our ideas to create a collective class poem. Look out for our alliteration, metaphors and onomatopoeia.
